Week 2 of the season saw all 8 of our teams in action; and the games didn't disappoint - a total of 54 goals were scored, with 25 coming from Swifts.

Non-Competitve (U7-U11)

Our Under 7s were once again on top form in their game against Easington Sports Reds - with goals coming from James Johnson (3), and Isaac Brook.

The Under 9s couldn't quite continue the momentum from their previous weeks fixture, as they were beaten at home by one of the league's newest sides, Clanfield 85. Swifts only goal of the game came from Henry Harrington-Turner - who got his first goal of the season in his first game.

Swifts Under 10s got straight back to winning ways with victory over Ducklington, in an end-to-end, high quality game. George Meathrel's first goal of the season was backed up by a brace from Sammy Clews, in a superb second half performance.

The Under 11 Blacks' first match of the season saw them beaten on the road by an impressive Easington side, while the Under 11 Whites played their part in a cracker of a game at Greystones - they were narrowly edged out of the match, despite goals from Billy Rickard, Ted Rickard, Isaac Mehrabian and James Williams.

Competitive (U12-U16)

Swifts U12s were dealt some tough treatment from both their opposition, and the assistant referee, as they lost 2-1 in incredibly unfortunate circumstances against Brackley Athletic Jaffas - as their hunt for points in the U12C League continues. Swifts goal came from Henry Clements.

The Under 15s perfect start to the season continued - they were rewarded for making the long trip to Grendon Rangers with 3 points, after a convincing 8-1 win, which took them to 2nd in the Under 15 'B' League, with a game in hand. Goals from Ajay Itah (4), Lewis Pretorius, Rex Chiles, Alex Ford and Jerome Davies secured the points.

Last, but certainly not least - the Under 16s made it two stunning comebacks out of two in their game vs Tower Hill. From 5-2 down to 5-5 last week, Swifts went one better - winning 4-3 from 3-1 down away from home. Two goals from Jonny Carroll (one of them a stunning long-range free kick), as well as goals from Felix Robertson and George Thomas, stole the points.
