October began for Swifts with seven of our teams in action; in a mixed weekend with 4 wins, 3 defeats; 35 goals scored, with 19 from Swifts.

Non-Competitve (U7-U11)

Our Under 7s superb start to the season continued through another week, as they beat Grendon Rangers at Greystones; with goals from James Johnson (2), and Isaac Brook.

The Under 9s got back to winning ways, with a convincing performance against Bloxham - a hat-trick from Jude Rutland and a goal from Noah Poole, both taking them to 5 goals for the season, as well as goals from Ned Jackman and Henry Harrington-Turner, saw Swifts comfortably over the line.

Swifts Under 10s were beaten on the road for a second time this season, as they were edged out by Chadlington in a superb game, where forwards came out on top. A brace from Sammy Clews, doubling his season tally, and another from Isaac Kedward, proved to be just not enough on the day.

The Under 11 Blacks were beaten by Banbury United at Greystones, in another game where Swifts had chances, but didn't take full advantage. Antonio Virk scoring the only goal for Chippy.

On the same pitch, the Under 11 Whites were beaten in a local derby with Hook Norton; a below-par first half was recovered slightly in the second with a much improved performance. Isaac Mehrabian's goal gave Swifts some hope, but it wasn't enough to gain a result.

Competitive (U12-U16)

Swifts Under 12s were victorious once again, gaining their second win in as many weeks with a 2-1 friendly win over Brackley Athletic, who had beaten Swifts at the beginning of September. Goals from Ben Seward and Luca Risato sealed the win, in a game where Swifts probably could have scored many more.

Finally, in the only game of Sunday; the Under 16s beat Carterton Town by 4 goals to 1 - a hat-trick for George Thomas, making him Swifts' top scorer with 5 goals total, was complimented by Miguel Daniel's 3rd of the Season, to boost Swifts up to 3rd in the U16 League, and continuing their unbeaten start to the campaign.
